Description
The transmission tower is a work of engineering art – slender yet capable of withstanding the huge forces put onto the cables. They are seen all over the world and have a huge variety of designs. The N Scale Laser tower is a 380kV tower of the waisted design common in the USA.
The tower is cut from oiled manila card and is surprisingly sturdy once assembled. There is limited folding required to assemble and a medium viscosity CA adhesive is recommended for assembly.
The kit includes laser cut inverted V insulators from MDF, 3D printed insulators will shortly be available from Shapeways.
